The 1 RMB Water Music Workshop: an exclusive pre-performance tour for kids and teens!
Kids aged 6 to 16 can enjoy an exclusive pre-performance workshop in the world of Water Heavens, following Tan Dun’s creative footprint in the conception of this unique artistic piece. A journey through time and space that will span the ancient history of Zhujiaijao water town, and have the kids discover all the different ways water is used during the performance (and play with it!); kids will explore the unique Ming-meets-Bauhaus architectural features of the performance hall, which act as instrument too! A great way to stimulate their creativity by exploring the intimate relationship between nature, music and the environment.
Guided by our US-born music teacher Felix, the workshop is available in both English & Chinese.
Who? kids aged 6 to 16
How much? 1 RMB/child. Includes evening performance attendance.
When? Every Saturday, 3 to 4 pm

What about the grown-ups? Every child can be accompanied by max 2 adults, who will each enjoy a 50% discount on performance ticket.
